Biography

Andrew was born on September 7th, 1990 in the European Country of Romania. He was adopted a year later by Gary and Elizabeth Metzger.

Since the age of four, Andrew has loved to entertain others. Andrew has training in improvisational comedy, classic and musical theater, and has a large arsenal of different character voices, dialects, and impressions (including Gollum, Yoda, Jack Sparrow, Mickey Mouse, and characters from Spongebob Squarepants).

Though he loves to act, Andrew's way of entertaining others also transfers to being behind the scenes - specifically making movies. At age twelve, Andrew attended a film class during the summer, acquiring an arsenal of skills such as directing, screenplay writing, editing, and camera operation. Since then he's been making films non-stop.

In 2004, Andrew created a YouTube account, choosing Andiana as the name of his online alter-ego (this was his nickname growing up due to his love of the Indiana Jones movies). Focusing on spoofing the Pirates of the Caribbean films, Andrew gained popularity, especially after his well-known online feud between another Jack Sparrow impersonator, VendettaMan (which spawned the Pirates Spoof: End of Contest" Series). Andrew also started up his school's television program, Panther TV, with him as Jack Sparrow in segments advertising the school's drama department happenings.

Andrew also enjoys live theater and performing in front of an audience. His first major role was when he starred in a production of Joseph Stein's "Enter Laughing" as Mr. Marlowe, and has performed in numerous improvisational comedy shows. He has been involved in productions of Disney's "Aladdin Jr.", "Damn Yankees", and most recently, he played Thenardier in "Les Miserables".


During his senior year in high school, Andrew wrote and directed "Writing Myself to Death" for his school's One Act Play Festival. It was welcomed with great feedback from the audiences who saw it.

In 2008, Andrew was initiated into the International Thespian Society, along with twelve others from his school.

Andrew is attending Moorpark College, and wants to major in Film and Television. Of course Andrew plans on going into the entertainment business as either an actor of film-maker (or both!). Many times he has stated "I can't see myself doing anything else."

Andrew is currently rehearsing for his next show with director Jeff Wallach, "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum", as Psedudelus, which opens near the end of May.
