Hey all!

Last night was the opening performance for "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum"...and it went amazing. It was truly surprising and pleasing to see how well everything came together. Everyone was on top of things, the new pianist was great, and our audience was superb! They got every joke ad we got several applause moment throughout. Not to mention, it felt great to be the lead of a show like this, and our curtain call had audience members on their feet.

It was perhaps one of the best experiences I've ever had on stage, and I can't wait for the next 5 performances....and I will be truly sad when it ends.

Hope everyone is well!

Easter, heh.... 04/12/2009

I realized last night that I haven't updated the site in a while, nor done a blog....I'm not sure if it really matters cause I don't think many if any people are checking this at all but whatever.

Since my last post, Ergo Pictures has reached over 5,000 subscribers. We are still currently partners, and are receiving a nice bit of profit from the ad revenues. We have a lot of videos in the works, and we are going to try and upload more frequently. This past week, we wrapped on "Coming Out of the Closet", a short film I wrote and directed, and it's in the final editing stages now. It should be up on YouTube within the next 2 weeks.

I'm in the middle of rehearsals for "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum", playing the lead role of Pseudelus. It's one of my DREAM roles and I'm very excited for the show. Today, I'm going to be going in to audition for CCT's "Sweeney Todd", however I'm not sure if I'm going to actually accept whatever role they give me, due to schedule conflicts and other goings ons.

A couple days ago, I also lost a very dear friend. Due to a mis-understanding, she snapped at me over an AIM conversation, signed off, and the next thing I know, I'm off her friends list on both Myspace AND Facebook, as well as losing her subscriptions on YouTube. I don't know if things will ever be the same between us.

Anywho, Happy Easter everyone, hope all is well.

Hey all. It's been an interesting week, including tests, heartbreak, drama, and success. But this post is dedicated merely to the success.

After doing a short video collaboration with internet celebrity Corey Williams, Ergo Pictures has now become a true YouTube Partner!

Here is the said video -

This is a great opportunity and honor. Now we are actually going to get money and hopefully exposure...hot damn!

So, if you haven't already, go check out Ergo Pictures!

As I type this late night blog, I am anxiously awaiting morning while failing at sleeping, and anticipating a test which I didn't study very well for...same old stuff right? ;-)

Oh yeah...I survived the opening weekend of Pirates...barely...by Sunday I sounded like a de-hydrated Spongebob. Speaking of Sunday - our Major General didn't show up! One of our other cast members had to fill in and do the part while holding a script. He did amazingly none the less.

The doctor said I have a virus...great! Hopefully it will clear up within the week...I'm feeling slightly better but still...it might ruin some plans I was intending to possibly have this weekend. Ugh.

It's getting to the point now where I'm getting tired of the curveballs and things going wrong all the time...very rarely does something go right for me and when it happens I cherish it as long as I can...I guess I'm just waiting for something outstanding to happen...I'm just not sure what.

As soon as I get better I think I'm going to make a video blog. I sorta made one last week but for some reason the quality got screwed up and I had to take it off Youtube. hopefully I'll be able to figure out the problem.

Alright guys, keep checkin' back. Please leave a comment!!! :-D

Well opening night of Pirates was last night...and guess what? - I got a sore throat the night before! YEAH! Another point added to the "let's screw with Andrew" leader board. Ugh. Basically my singing was dreadful...and I lost my voice near the end of the show...completely. It was so demeaning. As I type now, I STILL have a sore throat, and my voice isn't any better...I don't know if I want to go through what happened last night again...but alas I have to. Blegh.

Also, during the finale of Act One, the lights and music went out! Right in the middle of my lyric! I improved a little and the audience got a kick out of it and then the rest of the amazing cast and I did the rest of it all A Capella. That was interesting.

I also have a big test to study for but I don't have the motivation to do so...I dunno what's up with me but I'm just tired of school. Ugh. I need a hug.

Hope everyone is well

HELL WEEK! 02/02/2009

Tech week, or "Hell Week" for Pirates of Penzance starts tonight...I'm very nervous (the show opens Friday night). I feel ready yet I'm starting to doubt my own abilities. There are 18 performances! 18! Holy crap! There were only 6 for Les Miz, and that was challenging enough...but this is 3 times more! Hopefully by the 4th show I'll know what I'm doing up there on stage haha.

There is a script that is about to go into production for my Andiana channel. I won't give too much away, but basically it's another installment of the "Day in the Life" series, and this puts Sparrow into a position that most everyone can relate to. I'm excited because it'll be featuring a person who will hopefully be more prominent in more videos to come on both the Andiana and Ergo channel.

Ok, that's it for now. I think I'm gonna attempt to go sleep some more.

Hey all. Haven't posted in a while here so I thought I'd give an update on things going on in my life - I'm not sure if anyone is reading this, but for those of you who are checking here thank you haha.

First off, "Les Miz" ended 2 weeks ago...and I miss it very much. Not just because of the fact I was playing my dream role, but because I miss the people I got to know and love so well. This was the first cast I've ever been in where everyone was pretty much friendly and accepting, so it was truly an amazing experience and I will never forget it. I also met people and made friends who I will hopefully remain in contact with for a long time.

Here is a clip from the show - "Master of the House", by big production number. This was my night with Tori, who was double cast alongside Amanda in the role of Mme. Thenardier. Hopefully I'll get footage of me and Amanda soon.

"Pirates of Penzance" opens next week...I'm nervous as hell. This is my first extensive singing role (Thenardier was a lot of 'talk-singing'). I hope I do the part justice, because the rest of the cast is amazing and I don't want to be the black sheep or "new guy" who brings the show down. We'll see what happens with that.

School started back up again as well...it's been alright. Not too bad..yet..it's starting to pile up (the reading especially) and it's getting to the point where I'm skimming the stuff and not retaining the info like I should. I'm also dozing off in class here and there...which isn't good...I think it has to do with  my sleeping - i get about 2-4 hours which is waaay below what I should be getting...but alas I've been having trouble sleeping lately - i guess thinking about certain things and certain people and all that. agh.

So yeah, keep checkin' back, I'll try to update stuff more. Thanks guys.
- Andy

Yep. This week I have been cast in the part of the Pirate King in "Pirates of Penzance"...I'm still in kind of awe of it, but it's great. Now I just have to learn all new dialouge and lyrics.....no biggie :-)

Les Miz opens next week...and I think I'm coming down with a sore throat....ack! Hopefully I'll be over it in less than a week.

Happy New Year Everyone!
- Andy

Well, after months of rehearsing, Les Miserables is gonna open on January 9th.  It's  nerve-racking for me: it's my first time playing a principal singing role. So for the next couple weeks I'm going to be very anxious...and I'm sure by opening night I'll have all my nails bitten off. More updates and pictures to come, and I'm sure they'll be videos of the performances that I'll be posting up.

Sparrow is on a bit of a hiatus I guess you can say. The demand and popularity of the character has gone down, unfortunately. Now, don't worry, this doesn't mean the end of my Sparrow videos, but I'm going to be investing more time with Chris in Ergo Pictures, since there's more potential for a variety of skits and comedy bits.

Anyways, keep checking back for new updates and pictures and such, I'll also be posting more video exclusives here. Thanks all.

Hey all. I know I haven't posted on here in a while...then again I'm not sure if anyone is reading these anyways haha. Anyways, so those who have been keeping up with my Andiana YouTube channel know about my two latest videos. If you don't, well here they are -

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
Scene Re-Enactment - "Persuasion"

Captain Jack Sparrow visits
Disney's California Adventure (Halloween)

The latest video, "Persuasion", features my friend and aspiring actress Francesca DeCaro, who fortunately was able to fit doing this video into her busy schedule, so a big thank you to Francesca!

The video itself was supposed to take place elsewhere (outside) at a location that was picked out, but alas, Mother Nature decided not to be kind, and blasted us with strong winds. Because filming that day was so crucial due to our crew's busy schedules, we decided to film the thing in my living room. Eh, not how I would have liked it but oh well.

Matt's (Gibbs) beard turned out exactly how I wanted it - corny but not to shabby. For this type of video, it gets the job done and I think I'll be using Gibbs as a re-occurring character more often now.

Also, you may notice the new wig! It's from Ms. Mazie, an Ebay vendor. The wig is a work of art. I reccommend if you are a fellow Captain Jack enthusiast that you check out Ms. Mazie on Ebay, if you're looking for a great quality affordable wig.

Alright well that's it for now, I'll try and post more often...if you're reading, PLEASE leave comments! :-D
